Dependable processes for juicy content? Yes, please

When I told Tony Porreco I was launching a weekly LIVE show, he said, "interesting," with the old chin stroke. 🤔

For you see, Tony has known me since the days before Stoned Fruit, since the days before Rebecca Gunter, freelance for hire.

Tony has had a ringside seat to my every comeuppance as a content creator since 2015. In fact, he was the one to convince me to take a Moth-style storytelling class to hone my skills and get better at structure and stakes. He encouraged writing workshops and on-the-mic opportunities. He helped me get my gear together and learn how to record both audio and video.

He came up with the "Juicy" in the Stoned Fruit brand and he even named the very LIVE show, Stoned Fruit Roll.Up, that I am inviting him to tomorrow. So yeah, that's my boi. 🎧🎙️💃 🕺

Tony is meticulous in his workflows as a Podcast producer (SHRM by day, Hometown Sounds, by night.) His magic formula is in preparation and production; he knows just the right levers to pull to consistently deliver a gold standard audio quality and a very listenable show.

I had to know: Shownotes and episode titles, what are their roles and how do we rock them? Processes and best practices for reliable, high-quality recordings, what are the things we must always remember to do? What is the job of the host and co-host and how do you know how to steer the conversation to reveal something authentic and compelling? In your opinion, what makes a good show? And finally, is a hot dog a sandwich?
